Frequently Asked Questions

Find practical answers about reading plans, chapter goals, genre preferences, browser storage, printing, and saved text records.

How do I get started?

Choose the tool that matches your next step: track progress, organise a collection, make a schedule, compare genre preferences, set a reading goal, or arrange a story idea. Enter your own titles and choices, then create the result. You can change the inputs and generate a revised plan whenever needed.

Which tool should I use first?

Start with Manga Reading Tracker if you already have a reading list. Use the Schedule Planner to reserve time during the week, or the Goal Planner to estimate a finish date for a chapter milestone. The Collection Planner helps you decide what comes next.

Can I change a plan after making it?

Yes. Revise the form choices and create a new result. In the tracker and collection tools, use Edit or Remove beside an entry. If you kept an earlier text record, save a fresh copy after changing the plan so the version you take elsewhere reflects your latest choices.

Can I plan more than one title?

The tracker and collection tools support up to 100 entries each. The schedule accepts 1–30 titles, one per line, and allocates chapters in that order. Use a separate goal label for a focused milestone, or make a new goal plan when you want to work on another title.

Is it free and do I need an account?

The included tools are free to use and work immediately. Enter a title and your choices to get started. Optional local remembering lets you keep inputs on the same browser, while printing and text saving let you keep a separate record of a finished result.

Where do the titles come from?

You enter each title yourself. Use the name you recognise, a personal shorthand, or an original working title for a story idea. The text becomes a label in your result. Keep spelling consistent when adding entries because duplicate title labels are checked without regard to letter case.

How is the genre result produced?

Selected interests add fixed points to broad genre tags. The result shows the highest totals and the contributing rules. It does not read a work or infer its genre from its title, and it is not an age rating or content warning.

Can I print or save a plan?

Yes. After producing a result, use Print plan or Save plan as text. Printing is handled by your browser; Save as PDF depends on the browser. The text file includes your entered labels and generated notes. Keep track of the location where you save or share it.

Where is my reading list stored?

Initially in the current page’s memory. If you explicitly enable Remember this tool on this browser, the inputs and working entries for that tool are stored in localStorage on this site origin and browser profile. They are not uploaded or synchronised by this plugin.

How can I remove remembered information?

Turn off remembering to remove that tool’s saved key, or use Clear tool to clear the working inputs and saved copy after confirmation. Your browser’s site-data settings can remove all local keys. The plugin cannot erase text files you exported or data copied to another service.

Why can a schedule or finish estimate be wrong for me?

The tools assume a constant number of minutes per chapter, one session per selected day, and no missed sessions. Real chapters, personal needs, and other commitments vary. Change the inputs and keep the output as a flexible plan, not a promise.

What if I enter markup or leave optional fields empty?

Entered text appears as text, not executable markup. Optional blank targets, quantities, themes, and notes are omitted rather than treated as verified facts. Required fields must still be filled, and invalid numeric ranges are reported.

Can a browser-only plan disappear?

Yes. Reloading or leaving a page clears memory-only work. Clearing site data, using a different browser or site origin, private browsing, or storage restrictions can remove remembered information. Keep your own text record; there is no server backup of visitor plans.

What rights apply to my story outline?

The planner uses generic, fixed writing prompts and your own title. It does not establish originality or clear rights in material you add. Develop your own expression and check permissions before incorporating another creator’s protected characters, dialogue, artwork, or plot expression.
