Scope and browser processing

This notice describes Manga Ledger’s visitor tools. Titles, chapter counts, routine choices, priorities, preferences, and story-planning ingredients are processed by JavaScript on the visitor’s device. The plugin does not submit these inputs to a visitor-data endpoint, create a reading account, or store a server-side reading-list database. The contact draft builder also works locally.

This does not mean the entire WordPress installation or hosting service processes no data. The site operator is responsible for the actual deployment, including hosting, security tools, consent services, and other plugins. Do not put confidential or sensitive information in a browser planning tool, especially on a shared or managed device.

Optional local storage and deletion

Remember this tool on this browser is off by default. If selected, the plugin writes one localStorage key for that tool, using manga-ledger.v1. followed by the tool’s route. It saves form choices and the tracker or collection entries needed to restore that tool. There is no automatic expiry: the key remains until you disable remembering, clear the tool, clear site data, or the browser removes it.

The saved values are not encrypted by the plugin. Someone with access to your browser profile, or another script executing on the same site origin, may be able to read them. Browser restrictions can prevent saving; the interface then reports that the plan is memory-only. Leaving remembering off requires no cookie consent for this optional feature because no persistent visitor key is written. Applicable local storage-consent rules still depend on the deployment and law.

Clear tool removes the current tool’s working inputs and attempts to remove its saved key. You can also use browser settings to remove this site’s storage. A locally exported text file is outside that storage; remove it from your device or shared locations yourself. The operator cannot recover information that was never sent to the server.

Requests, third parties, and your controls

This plugin includes no analytics tracker, advertising pixel, remote font, content feed, publication search, or automatic external media load. If you open a configured email action, your mail application and provider handle that message only when you choose to send it.

The web server and hosting services may process ordinary requests, IP addresses, browser headers, URLs, and timestamps when delivering pages or assets. WordPress administration, the active theme, a CDN, security services, or unrelated plugins can add their own processing and retention. Review their actual practices instead of assuming this plugin controls them.

For data held separately by the website operator, use the verified contact channel shown on Contact. Explain the relevant request without sending your entire private reading list. Legal rights and response duties depend on the applicable law. The operator should update this notice whenever integrations or processing change.
