What these tools use
Manga Ledger’s visitor tools do not set advertising, analytics, sign-in, or identification cookies. They have no account requirement, advertising integration, or third-party tracker. Ordinary form input is held in page memory unless you explicitly choose remembering.
Remember this tool on this browser uses localStorage, not a cookie. A key beginning manga-ledger.v1. is written for the current tool only. Its purpose is to restore that tool’s form choices and working list on this site in this browser profile. It persists until you or the browser remove it; no server copy is created by this plugin.
How to control it
Leave the checkbox off to avoid optional persistent storage. Turning it off removes the saved key while retaining the current working form until you leave or clear it. Clear tool resets the current tool after confirmation and removes its saved key when the browser permits. Your browser’s site-data controls can remove all local entries for the site.
Private browsing, storage blocking, quota limits, different site origins, and browser cleanup can prevent restoration. The interface reports a failed saving attempt and continues in memory. A saved text record is separate from localStorage and cannot be erased by the site after you export it.
Review the surrounding deployment
WordPress can use cookies for administrators and login sessions. A theme, CDN, security service, consent manager, or another plugin can add cookies or similar storage. This plugin does not inspect or control those services and does not provide a blanket consent mechanism for them.
The operator must review actual site behaviour, publish any additional notices, and obtain consent where required by the services used and applicable law. No consent banner for unrelated services is supplied merely by activating this plugin. See Privacy Policy for the distinction between local tool inputs and ordinary server requests.
