Manga Reading Goal Planner

Estimate reading sessions and a finish date from your own chapter target and routine. Free browser-only planning with clear formulas and printable results.

Behind the result - No mystery in the method

Remaining chapters equal target minus chapters already read. Capacity is floor(session minutes ÷ minutes per chapter), and sessions needed equal ceil(remaining ÷ capacity). From your start date, the planner counts one session on each chosen weekday until that many sessions have been assigned. An optional target date is compared with the estimated finish, and the result states whether that routine fits. If the goal is already met, no further sessions or finish date are invented. A zero-capacity routine cannot produce a finish estimate. This assumes constant reading pace, no missed sessions, and no publication delays.

Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML. Print or save the result to keep a record of your plan.

Before you go

Is the estimated finish date guaranteed?

No. It assumes your entered pace and one session on each selected weekday. Missed days, changing chapter lengths, and other commitments can move the actual finish.

What happens if I have already reached my goal?

The tool reports that no further sessions are needed. It does not manufacture a future completion date or subtract chapters you have already read.

Can I use a personal target instead of a series total?

Yes. The target can be any chapter milestone you choose, up to the tool’s limit. The site does not verify how many chapters have been published or whether a series is complete.
